. More About the Model

The Model of Collaborative Problem Solving that the Pathways to Collaboration Workgroup will use as an initial framework for understanding how collaboration works draws on much of the wisdom, experience, and knowledge about collaborative problem solving that has been generated over the last 40 years. A detailed description of the model, including the large body of practical experience, research, and evaluation on which it is based, was published in the March 2003 issue of the Journal of Urban Health. The article is accompanied by four commentaries that look at the model from different perspectives.
