. How to Stay Connected and Learn with Us

Although only 1% of the partnerships that originally applied to Pathways to Collaboration met the particular criteria we set forth, the Letters of Intent that we received from hundreds of others suggest that many partnerships around the country are exploring ways to examine and improve their collaborative work and tap its tremendous (but often not fully realized) potential. The Pathways to Collaboration Workgroup is designed to yield practical information about collaborative problem solving that will be useful to these partnerships and to the funders who share an interest in their success. It will also support the development of qualitative and quantitative measures that researchers and evaluators can use to assess the effectiveness of community collaborations.

We strongly encourage everyone who is interested in the objectives of the Workgroup to contact us by e-mail (ptc@nyam.org) and to keep up-to-date by regularly visiting this web site. We are beginning to explore other ways to engage the broader community in this work, such as on-line forums geared to the specific interests of community partnerships, funders, evaluators, and researchers. If you are interested in participating in such a forum or have other ideas to support joint learning, please be sure to let us know.
